Support can come in many forms: financial, emotional, physical, moral, spiritual etc. With the creation of Julio’s Sol, we aim to support others in as many of these aspects as possible. Much of what a person takes away from any given source of inspiration and information is what he/she is ready to receive and then apply in his/her own life. Just to be in a position to chose for oneself which direction you would like your life to take is, unfortunately, not a luxury that everyone in this world has.
With that idea in mind, we have decided that one of our first ’supporting others’ projects will be to financially support entrepreneurs in developing countries by lending them money in the form of a microloan. We see mircoloans as an amazing way for other people to transform not only their physical conditions, but also the emotional and spiritual conditions that give one the hope to dream of something bigger and better, and actually be able to go after that.
We will be moving to Mexico in January so we will be supporting someone whom we can visit, interview and hopefully spend a little time with. We will be reporting the updates on the homepage and giving the beneficiary the opportunity to speak about what the loan has done for him/her.
